Can you make stainless steel angle brackets yourself?
When modernising or extending your own home, you are often faced with the problem of needing a special stainless steel angle bracket. The DIY store carries, if anything, a selection of right-angled brackets. To cover your own needs, you might get the idea of making an angle profile yourself.
But you must not overlook the fact that obtaining stainless steel sheets for this is almost as difficult - they are by no means common merchandise either. The next challenge is the processing: while almost every household has saws for cutting wood, tools for working metal are rather the exception. The greatest challenge of all is likely to be bending the stainless steel sheet - especially if you do not want to produce a 90° angle. Achieving a uniform edge requires strength and a delicate touch, and making a bending block costs additional time.
